The BCPL bookmobile has over 3,000 titles, from popular reading to practical information. We serve areas of Bradford County where library service is not available or where residents have difficulty traveling to the main library.

We have McNaughton books (ask me what a McNaughton is!) , children's and adult books on tapes, VHS video, paperbacks and some large print. If you visit the bookmobile and do not find what you are looking for, no problem.... ask and you shall receive! We do have limited room on the bookmobile, so we can't carry everything.

Our homebound program is for disabled people who have no way to get to the library. We will bring reading materials to your home once a month. There is an application and you will need to qualify. You may call the library anytime, and we will mail out an application for you and a certifying authority to fill out and sign. You will receive a self-addressed stamped envelope to return it. We will then process your application, call and set up a schedule.

Do you or someone you know have difficulty holding, handling or reading a regular print book because of a visual or physical disability? You or your friend may be eligible to receive free services from the Talking Books/Special Needs Library.

This library's collection of books on cassette includes mysteries, westerns, romances, biographies, travel, current events,how-to, children's and young adult books, and even books in foreign languages. You can select your reading materials from a large print or recorded catalog at home. Readers may subscribe to many different popular magazines.

Talking Books materials are mailed to readers postage free and return postage is free. The special equipment needed for this service is lent to customers at no charge.

The Florida Talking Book Library Services is located in Daytona Beach. Their phone number is : 1-800-226-6075. This is a free call. They can send out an application to you. We do have applications at BCPL main library and on the bookmobile.

If you need help using the equipment or with the form, please call;
